Caribou hair

Description

Hair from caribou, a wild species of deer often called reindeer when domesticated. Caribou are found in the arctic tundra regions of North America, Asia, Northern Europe, Alaska and Greenland. Caribou hair is a light weight hollow hair that is slightly shorter than natural deer body hair and a lighter color. The hair is used for brushes, fly-fishing and some clothing as it spins well and flares easily..
