Silver antimony sulfide

Description

Common name used for the double sulfide of silver and antimony prior to the 1800s when chemical compound names were standardized (Schur 1985). The mineral form is known as pyrogyrite and it was also called red silver, ruby silver ore and dark red silver ore.
