Description
Crystalline salt with a slight Vinegar odor. Zinc acetate is prepared from Zinc nitrate and Acetic anhydride. The salt is an astringent and disinfectant. Zinc acetate is used to preserve wood, mordant dyes and as a ingredient in Porcelain glazes. It is also used as a reagent for the detection of Blood, Albumin, and tannins.
