Description
Generic term for the use of instruments or sensors dedicated to measure environmental parameters of the local climate in museums, libraries, archives, exhibition rooms, historical buildings, storage rooms, transport containers… Measured parameters can be temperature, relative humidity, air corrosivity, concentration of dust in suspension in the local atmosphere, concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOC) in the atmosphere ... The physics principles of the sensors can cover a large spectrum.
