Description

In this Ion Beam Analysis method, one uses specific nuclear reactions, generally threshold ones, as (p,n), (p,2n), (d,n), etc to determine lightweight elements concentration in metallic matrixes. An example of the use of the technique is the non destructive determination of oxygen content in archaeological bronze objects.

Synonyms and related terms
