Description

Any of several species of web-footed seabirds of the family Larinae. Sea gulls are found worldwide in coastal areas and near inland seas and large lakes. They are typically white or gray in color with black markings. Gulls are omnivorous and catch or scavenge many types of food including fish, mollusks, crustaceans, insects, grasshoppers, worms, grubs, and even garbage.
