Description
[Kanebo Textiles, Japan] A brand name for a synthetic fiber made from corn. Lactron is composed of polylactic acid produced from a process that starts with the fermentation of Cornstarch. The environmentally friendly product is made from plants and will safely decompose upon disposal.
Note: The patent for Lactron was abandoned in 2006.
