Description

Wood from the tree, Tecoma leucoxylon, native to Surinam and French Guiana. It is also called Surinam greenheart and sold as a substitute for Demerara greenheart wood. Bethabara, however, has yellowish spots in its green wood and is not as resistant to insects as the real greenheart.
