Description
A synthetic nitrate cellulose nitrate-based adhesive. Elastic collodion is made by dissolving the cellulose nitrate in an ether ether and alcohol ethanol mixture then plasticizing the polymer with turpentine Venice turpentine and oil castor oil (Thornton 1998).
