Description

A large group of natural organic colorants composed of heterocyclic aromatic compounds. Flavonoids make up most of the yellow, red, and blue colors in flowers and fruits. Many Natural dyes and lake pigments are made from flavonoids. Some types of flavonoids are catechins, anthocyanins, and flavonols.
