Uemura's notes The resultant colors were completely different from those dyed with Kuwa ( ) (Morus australis Poir.), or those with Yamabshi () (Cornus kousa Buerger ex Hance subsp. kousa); but more similar to those dyed with bark of Zumi () (Mauls toringo (Siebold) Siebold ex de Vriese). The plant material for this experiment was provided by Mr. Takuji Koshimizu () .
