Description
[Kalvar Corp.] A former trademark for a vesicular microfilm produced from 1967 to 1970. Kalvar microfilm is a multilayer plastic film in which the image is produced by minute bubbles. Heat can destroy the image. Kalvar film degrades with age producing volatile Hydrogen chloride fumes which can attack nearby storage boxes, metal cabinets, and adjacent Silver gelatin paper and films.
