Description

A processed mineral that is primarily composed of oxide magnesium oxide (88-94%). Calcined magnesite is produced by the calcining of carbonate magnesium carbonate (natural natural magnesite) or hydroxide magnesium hydroxide. It is one of the materials used to make cement oxychloride cement. Note that natural magnesite is a chemically different compound.
