Potassium bromide

Description
Colorless crystals or white powder. Potassium bromide is used in photography in gelatin bromide papers and in developing and intensifying baths. It is also used in process engraving and lithography. For infrared spectroscopy, potassium bromide is used to make IR transparent salt pellets.
