Description

An ink used in an intaglio printing process. Rotogravure inks may be may with cellulose acetate propionate resins. Adolph Ochs introduced the rotogravure process for printing newspaper photographs; it replaced the photogravure process.

Physical and Chemical Properties

Usually soluble in ethanol.
