Description
A vegetable tanned cow skin. Saddle leather is a flexible, sturdy leather in a natural tan shade. It is usually tanned with extracts of hemlock, chestnut, and quebracho, then stuffed with a mixture of paraffin, tallow, grease, and oil. Saddle leather is used for harnesses, saddlery, handbags, and jackets.
