The red tiles are recommended for use with relative humidities above 40% and the blue tiles are recommended for use with RH below 40%.  Each tile has a color indicator for relative humidity.  The silica gel in the tiles can be regenerated with moist air or oven drying.  Each tile is calibrated to condition about 1.5 cubic feet of air in a well sealed case.
