Description
A brownish-black amorphous powder. Black copper oxide occurs in nature as the mineral tenorite (triclinic crystals) and paramelaconite (cubic crystals). It is used as a Pigment in Glass, artificial gems, enamels, and ceramics. Black copper oxide is also used as an Abrasive for polishing optical glass and as a Flux in Copper metallurgy.
