Description
A state of matter defined by its ability to flow without separating. A liquid will take the shape of any container in which it is placed. Liquids have a constant volume and are relatively incompressible. A liquid heated to its boiling point, is in equilibrium with its gaseous state. A liquid cooled to its freezing point is in equilibrium with its solid state.
