Description
[W.R.Gore & Associates] A formerly available product that was a rigid plastic grid containing Silica gel enclosed in GORE-TEX® which is a nonwoven polyester fabric laminated with polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon®). GORE-TEX® silica tiles provide a stable moisture content in a closed environment by allowing moisture vapor passage in both directions. The red tiles are recommended for use with relative humidities above 40% and the blue tiles are recommended for use with RH below 40%. Each tile has a color indicator for relative humidity.
