Description
A liquid, paste, or wax used to prevent adhesion. Any surface, such as a mold, can be coated with a release agent to prevent the mold material from sticking. Examples of release agents are: Teflon®, silicone, dusting powders (Talc, Mica, etc.) Carnauba wax, Zinc stearate, Soap, Tallow, Paraffin, amide waxes (Stearamide, Oleoamide), and Fluorocarbon sprays.
