Description

A semisolid mixture of long chain hydrocarbon fatty acids extracted from the fatty tissue of a human, Homo sapiens. Depot fat primarily contain the following fatty acids (average %): Oleic acid (46.9), Palmitic acid (24.0), Stearic acid (8.42), Linoleic acid (10.2) palmitoleic (5.0%), and myristic acid (2.7) (CRC Handbook 1980).
