Description

A Geotextile designed to mitigate the effects of erosion. Erosion control fabrics are alternatives to rip-rap. They may be used to control or alter the effects of water, wind, sand, traffic or other deteriorating sources. For example, an erosion control fabric can be used to stabilize an embankment by holding the soil in place but allowing water to drain freely.
