Description
A pale gray granite with translucent white and occasional black flakes quarried near Raymond, north of Fresno, California from 1888. Raymond granite is a muscovite base mixed with biotite mica flakes and a few black hornblende crystals. It has a medium-fine grain and is used for building and monuments.
