Raymond granite

Description

A pale gray Granite with translucent white and occasional black flakes quarried near Raymond, north of Fresno, California from 1888. Raymond granite is a Muscovite base mixed with Biotite mica flakes and a few black Hornblende crystals. It has a medium-fine grain and is used for building and monuments.
