Beeswax whose color has been lighten by exposure to light and air or with chemicals ([[ozone]], [[hydrogen peroxide]], [[calcium%20hypochlorite|chlorine]], [[potassium dichromate]], [[potassium permanganate]], etc.). Bleached beeswax is usually more dense and brittle than unrefined wax.
