Description

Earthenware vase MFA# 1985.360 A Ceramic glaze with a dull, nonglossy finish. Most slip glazes produce an opaque, matte finish. Matte glazes may sometimes be induced by with additions of Barium sulfate or Alumina. Matte glazes are used on architectural Terracotta.
