FORS spectra for two blue colorants typically used on Japanese prints of the Edo period.
Non-destructive FORS spectroscopy can easily distinguish these two blue colorants even when overprinted with yellow or red to form greens and purples.
We use an Ocean Optics miniature spectrometer with a fiber optic probe.
