Description

[Air Products, Inc] A brand name for a series of surfactants that are used for multiple functions such as wetting, defoaming and dispersion. Some of the Surfynol product classes are: --Surfynol 104's: a solvent based liquid series of nonionic, hydrophobic surfactants that provide both wetting and defoaming in paints, inks, dyes, adhesives and cements. --Ethoxylated products: a series of water soluble wetting agents that are used in paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, electroplating and paper coatings. Examples are the Surfynol 400 series. --Acetylinic alcohols: nonionic, nonfoaming surfactants that can be used in water or alcohol solutions, such as Surfynol 61.
