Description
White, water-soluble, hexagonal crystals. Sodium selenite is used in the manufacture of Glass to remove the green color caused by trace Iron components.

Hazards and Safety
Highly toxic by ingestion, inhalation and skin absorption. Skin contact causes burns. Decomposes with acid to form the toxic gas hydrogen selenide.
