Description

[Dow Chemical] A brand name for a series of phenolic compounds used as disinfectants, fungicides, and preservatives. Dowicide is added to water-based paints such as casein, Distemper, and Gum tempera.

Physical and Chemical Properties

Soluble in water, methanol and acetone.
