Description

A family of aromatic polyesters. Polyarylates are made by reacting aromatic dicarboxylic acids with diphenols. They are tough, durable, heat-resistant thermoplastic polymers. Polyarylates are used for aerospace applications and for electronics. Examples are:PEEK - polyetheretherketonePEK - polyetherketonePEKK - polyetherketoneketonePAEK - polyaromaticetherketone
