| Uemura's notes | This sample is a deeper shade of the top right sample. The fabric was firstly soaked in a bath containing the dye extract mixed with sodium carbonate; and then in vinegar. Annatto is a seed from Bixa. Orellona. The plant is a shrub and found around the regions in South East Asia and India. |
