Description

[Selleys PTY Ltd, Australia] A brand name for a series of adhesive emulsion products primarily used on wood. Aquadhere Exterior and Aquadhere Interior are composed of Polyvinyl acetate (80%) and hydrolyzed Polyvinyl alcohol (10%). The products may also contain butyl ether acetate) and an anionic surfactant (sodium salt of a sulfated oil) with trace amounts of Ammonium sulfate, Tartaric acid, Hydrogen peroxide, Formic acid, Sodium acetate, and a nonionic surfactant (Edmond 1990). Aquadhere Durabond is a polyurethane adhesive designed for adhering wood products. It is waterproof, sandable and paintable.
