Description
A class of antioxidants added to varnishes and polymers to minimize thermal oxidative degradation. Aromatic amines act as free radical scavengers to combine with peroxy and alkoxy radicals and break any autocatalytic cycle. Like hindered phenols, aromatic amines are not very effective for photochemical oxidation.
