Carpenter's glue

Description

Historically carpenter's glue has usually a skin or bone glue. See Animal glue. In the mid-20th century, Elmer's Products co-opted the name for a waterproof emulsion of PVAc that they branded Elmer's Carpenter's Wood Glue.
