Cockling

Description

A wrinkle or pucker without a crease. In fabrics, cockling may occur due to uneven tension of yarn during weaving or to variations in the types of yarn used. In paper or parchment, distortion and uneven shrinkage may causing cockling and keep the page from laying flat.
