Description

A hard Marble quarried in Tuolumne County, California. Columbia marble ranges in color from a snowy white to a dark blue-gray. All Columbia marbles polish to a high gloss. Varieties of Columbia marbles include:

  • White Columbia: fine-grain, white marble used in statuary
  • Light Columbia: pale gray marble with a few, thin dark veins
  • Light Blue Columbia: a multicolor blue-gray marble with coarse crystal.
  • Dark Columbia: a blue-gray marble, with thin dark veins
