Cucumber plant (Curcubitacea spp.)

Description

Any of several climbing or trailing plant belonging to the gourd family, Cucurbitaceae. This includes squash, pumpkin, cucumber, watermelon, and cantaloupe. Native Americans used gourds as containers and the oil from their seeds have been used paint binders.
