Erasability

Description

The ability of a paper or a digital storage device to have written or stored information erased without disruption of surface integrity. For a paper, erasure is done by abrading marks or dirt on the surface, thus a hard surface generally has good erasability. For a digital storage device, erasure involves the disordering of magnetic particles. Magnetic devices made out of high quality materials that are not susceptible to degradation should have excellent erasability.
