International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works

The International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (IIC) is a non-profit institute that promotes "the knowledge, methods and working standards needed to protect and preserve historic and artistic works. The Institute was founded in 1950 and currently has 3500 members in 75 countries. ... Membership is open to restorers and conservators in museums and in private practice, conservation scientists, educators and students, as well as collection managers, curators, art historians and anyone who wants to be informed about developments in the field."
