Kwikwood epoxy putty
Description
[J-B Weld] A hand-mixable, solvent-free epoxy putty designed to repair and rebuild wood. Kwikwood cures to a tough density with a strength of 2,450 PSI, making it stronger than many natural woods. It is often used for fixing dry rot, stripped screw holes, gouges, cracks, and furniture damage on both interior and exterior surfaces. Kwikwood comes in stick form. For mixing, slice off the desired amount of putty from each stick then kneed together with your fingers (wearing gloves) until a uniform color is reached. Then the putty can be pressed firmly into the prepared and cleaned damage site, shaping it as needed. Curing takes approximately an hour, then the hardened product can be machined, drilled, sanded, painted and/or stained.
