Description

A tool developed by the Canadian Conservation Institute in 1989. The Light Damage Slide Rule is used to compare the effects of varying light intensities and exposure times on color fading. Based on the colorant composition and their ISO lightfastness ratings, the slide rule shows estimates of fading times and their potential reduction when light intensities or exposure times are decreased.
