Liquid crystal polymer

Description

A polymer, such as an aramid (synthetic polyamide), whose molecules maintain a crystalline formation even when in a liquid state (solution or melted). Liquid crystal polymers have unique optical properties (such as anisotropic scattering), as well as good chemical and temperature resistance.
