Description
[Mohawk Industries] A brand name for an adhesive emulsion. Rivit's glue, originally made by Behlen's, is a white water-based emulsion of polyvinyl acetate. It dries to a clear film and was used by J. Pollack for sizing canvases and as a finishing coat over black pours (Coddington 1999).
