Uemura's notes | 5g of the air dried bark were boiled in 100cc (= 100ml) of water, from which 10cc was used for the dyeing. The amount of the bark contained in the 10cc was equal to the weight of the silk fabric used. This experiment and the previous experiment (Experiment 3) with this plant material were set as a standard for comparing the tannin acid content in plants. |
