Description
A special tool primarily used for tacking dry mounting tissue, heat set tissue, or other heat set adhesives. Tacking irons are is thermostatically adjustable, often with a range of 200-500F where the temperature is digitally controlled to provide accuracy. Some options include having the shoe of the iron coated with a non stick coating, rounded sides, but a point tip that allows access into hard to reach areas.
