Description

In World War I, airplane cloth was coated with Cellulose nitrate lacquer called airplane dope. Currently, airplane cloth is made from polyester or nylon fabrics. The strong durable fabric is used for ultralight planes and gliders as well as for flight clothing, jackets, and luggage.
