Description
A type of Brass used for casting. Sterro metal is composed of Copper with about 40% Zinc and 1-2% Iron. It was first made in the late 19th century used for machinery and marine parts. Other brasses with similar compositions were Delta metal, Aich's metal, Gedge's metal and Mach's metal.
