Description
A long-legged domestic rabbit with soft reddish-brown fur. Belgian rabbit fur is similar to Angora. The soft, lustrous fur is used for hats, scarves, sweaters, and gloves. Additionally, the leg bone of the Belgian hare was traditionally used by goldbeaters to apply Gypsum to goldbeater's skins (Roberts and Etherington 1982).
